fUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN: FREE FOOD FOR LATIN AMERICANS

CAMPAIGN BY LATIN STORIES AUSTRALIA TO SUPPORT LA TIENDA’S INITIATIVE

Many Latin Americans living in Melbourne on temporary visas are facing challenges due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Latin Stories Australia wants to help out, so we are partnering and supporting the initiative started by John Gomez of Colombian restaurant “La Tienda ”  who is providing FREE dinners on Monday and Tuesdays for those who are finding it tough since March 2020.

To be able to continue providing FREE dinners over the coming months they need the community support to purchase ingredients. If you can donate, please help us raise funds so that John can keep cooking and providing meals for those who need some help during these challenging times.

100% of your donations will be donated to La Tienda Melbourne.  For every $10 you donate, someone in need gets a HEARTY FREE meal. 

John says “We’re about supporting the community and the Latin American students; those here on student visas who work in various industries like hospitality or cleaning where 80-90% of them of them have lost their jobs” 

If you are finding it hard in this challenging time, all you have to do is to register at hola@latienda.com.au and once confirmed you can go on a Monday or Tuesday to pick up a free meal between 4:00 - 8:00pm at 268 High Street, Windsor, Melbourne.
