Latin Stories Australia in conjunction with curators Yunuen Pérez and Antonio González launched the exhibition From Latin American Stories to Victorian History: Building Bridges. The exhibition seeks to celebrate the wonderful impact of the Latin American community on Victoria’s rich history, as well as its achievements and deeds, assuring ongoing legacy for next generations. Through Social Pinpoint the Latin American community in Victoria helped us determine who and what was included in the exhibition.

In the making….
More than 140 members of the community representing twelve Latin American countries participated in the photo-shoot on the 15th and 16th of September 2018 at Meat Market (North Melbourne) and Abbotsford Convent. The photographs taken represent the voice of our community and demonstrate our contribution to Victoria in twelve different categories. We are more than 30,000 Latinos living in Victoria each person in the photos not only represent their own stories, but the stories of our whole community.
